Books for Trans Rights: June

Inspired by the #TransRightsReadathon in March 2023, I’m going to be raising money for trans justice organizations in the United States for the rest of the year. I’ll be giving away books via my newsletter, Books & Bakes. On the last day of each month, I’ll post a new batch of 20-30 books. To claim a book, readers can leave a comment on the newsletter and make a donation (of any amount starting at $10) here. I’ll drop the books in the mail, and at the end of the month, I’ll wrap up the fundraiser and donate the money.

Each month, I’ll pick 3 organizations and/or mutual aid funds to raise money for. I’m going to focus on organizations in states currently facing the worst anti-trans legislation, as well as national organizations and mutual aid funds that give individual grants to trans people and/or small community projects.

In June, I’m raising money for two organizations in Florida, the Central Florida Emergency Trans Care Fund and the Transinclusive Group, and one rad national organization, the Trans Justice Funding Project.
