Bike Trip for Zone 7 Scholarship Fund

Please consider supporting our bike campaign, which will raise money for a college scholarship to aid an economically disadvantaged student in Oakland, CA. Higher education is something that we and so many others really value, so it is important to us that everyone has the opportunity to pursue it without economic barriers.

To fundraise towards this goal, we’ve decided to physically challenge ourselves in the process with a one-week bike trip. Starting from our home in the Bay Area, we are setting the ambitious goal of reaching the U.S.-Mexico border, which would be approximately 600 miles. We aren’t experienced in cycling on any level, really, just a couple of normal guys who want to push ourselves to see how far we can go in a week. So, our upper bound is 600 miles, but we honestly don’t have a great estimate of how far we’ll get because we have not done anything near this magnitude before.
