Arizona Touchdown Pledge Drive 2015

For its final home game of the 2015 season, the Arizona offense will have a little extra incentive to score touchdowns against in-state rival Arizona State.

The Arizona Chapter of Uplifting Athletes is holding a Touchdown Pledge Drive against the Sun Devils for the game on November 21.

Uplifting Athletes is a national non-profit organization with 25 chapters that support our mission to make a positive and lasting impact on the rare disease community through the power of college football.

Each touchdown the Wildcats score against rival Arizona State will benefit the student-athlete led Arizona Chapter and its efforts to raise awareness of and research funds for the rare disease cystic fibrosis.

The 2015 Arizona football team is asking its fans to support the student-athlete led Uplifting Athletes Chapter by making a pledge through the Wildcats’ Touchdown Pledge Drive.

Arizona joined the Uplifting Athletes Chapter family in 2013 and held its inaugural Lift For Life in 2014. The Arizona Chapter champions the rare disease cystic fibrosis in honor of super fan Andrew Valdez. The teenager heroically battled cystic fibrosis, and Valdez’s display of strength and courage during his fight continue to inspire the Arizona athletics family.
