2023 Sail Park City Regatta

Please donate here to raise money for St. Vincent’s Swim Across the Sound.  Support the Sail Park City Regatta!

What began over 35 years ago when three Boston College graduates swam across the Sound and raised $5,000, has grown into a series of events raising more than $500,000 annually, including the annual Sail Park City Regatta. These events support thousands of people each year.

The Sail Park City Regatta is hosted by the Fayerweather Yacht Club and the Black Rock Yacht Club.  In the past, there have been upwards of 40 boats participating!  After the regatta, there will be a reception at the Fayerweather Yacht Club for race participants, club members, and their guests.

To enter a boat into the regatta click here.  To raise donations for a boat, the captain should:

1. Scroll down to where it says Fundraiser Leaderboard and click the green button that says “Become a Fundraiser“ 2. Customize the short message that will appear on your boat’s fundraising page 3. When prompted for your First and Last Name, enter your BOAT NAME, not your name. Whatever you enter will appear on the Leaderboard.  4. Enter the email address you’d like linked to your fundraising page.  5. Set your Username as your boat name.  6. Complete the remaining steps to receive your boat’s unique fundraising page URL.

Then the captain can distribute the URL link to the crew or to anyone who can donate.  There will be a ranking of the boats by donation amounts to see who wins!
