2023 Black Friday Ride-Day

We are rolling into our 5th annual Black Friday Ride-Day fundraiser!  The Bike Lab and Bike Club OKC are set to make 2023 the most successful Black Friday Ride-Day so far!

We’ve set our goal at raising $10,000 this year!  The Bike Lab helped us raise $6000 in 2022, which helped get bikes for our Thelma Parks Elementary program.

How will this year’s funds be allocated?  We are shooting for the addition of two more schools in the 2023-24 school year.  This means, 175 additional students will be part of the Bike Club OKC experience!  Bike Club OKC is in its 6th year.  425 students have had incredible opportunities and have become confident cyclists in the Bike Club OKC program.  Help us add another 50 students and 2 schools for our 2023-24 school year.

Bike Club OKC is so much more than just riding bikes!  We are creating opportunities for students in underserved communities.  Each year, we see 20% of our students who’ve never been on a bike.  Opportunities continue as students learn to navigate their community by bike; exploring local parks, museums, restaurants, and places of interest.  We connect with fire department, police, local dignitaries and bike shops.

The best part about Bike Club OKC, it’s free to all participants,  And, every student who completes the program earns a brand new bike to take home.  Additionally, they take home a helmet, pump, safety vest, season pass to Riversport OK, and the Wheeler Ferris Wheel, and lots of other swag.

Bike Club OKC is life changing for these students.  We are creating better citizens through cycling.

Top fundraiser will be awarded a two-night stay at a house in Bentonville.  The 3 bedroom house sleeps 8 people and is close to the downtown/ square area and And gift certificates for restaurants and more!   (This prize package is valued at about $1,000.  Must raise $1,500 to qualify for winning this prize package)

We will offer two spots in a MTB skills clinic with “The Ride Series”, March 16-17 or April 6-7.  The Ride Series is THE perfect spring board to get you rolling more confidently on MTB!  Whether you’re just starting out, you want to up your current skill level, or you want to do a jump clinic, there is a session for you!

Top male and female riders will receive gift cards to OKC restaurants.
