After 12 years, I think we can agree that my extra mommy poundage could no longer be considered “baby” weight.
I decided in February to turn my life around. I adjusted my attitude, I moved, I got my business back on track. However I had also ballooned into a whopping linebacker of a woman at 5’9” and 248 pounds..ouch. They would have called me “The Refrigerator” except that I had my head in it. I felt like crap too. I was stooped over under all the weight and my walk was that of an old woman’s shuffle. I finally just got sick of feeling horrible and I figured it ain’t worth it to lose the rest of my life to T.V. binging all 62 episodes of Breaking Bad and worshiping at the alter of Rum Raisin Haagen Daz and Cool Ranch Doritos.
So 6 weeks ago I started a diet, and I have to date lost 26.5 pounds. I only break the scales at 222.2 today. I am committing to the remainder of the weight loss today and I am inviting you to join me on the rest of my booty reduction journey to help a great local service; “Parents Helping Parents” in Santa Clara County.
PHP educates parents of children with learning disabilities to better advocate for their children. This organization gives a lot to the community, so lets help them out together. My job is to let go of the “Beefy Tostada” thighs of thunder, and your job is to make a pledge per lost pound I record during the reminder of my butt reduction journey. You can pledge any dollar amount. You can also make a one-time flat donation.
