Warren's Warriors: Field Goals For Kids

Join Greg Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers long snapper, in funding research and support services for kids with brain tumors. Greg, and his wife Ashley, will donate $150 per field goal all season to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, and they ask you to pledge a gift with them. Be a part of the team and receive a thank-you gift from Greg!

Thank-you gifts from Greg Warren for pledges and one-time donations:

• Pledge $1 (min. $25 donation) per field goal and receive an autographed Greg Warren photo

• Pledge $1.50 (min. $45 donation) per field goal and receive an autographed sports towel ** Pledges and one-time donations will be processed weekly.

• Greg will randomly reward one person who pledged or donated as of Oct. 18 with four tickets to ONE of the last five Pittsburgh Steelers’ home games of the season (winner’s choice)

A personal note from Greg and Ashley Warren: My wife Ashley and I have always held a special place in our hearts for children, and have supported organizations that held children’s interests in the forefront. However it wasn’t until after Ashley’s own diagnosis of a brain tumor that we became involved with this wonderful foundation. During this time, we were back in our home state of North Carolina and a radiothon came on the radio for a local organization whose proceeds benefited the PBTF. We were sitting and listening to these incredibly brave children speak on the radio about their battles with having a brain tumor, as well as the families who have lost their children to this terrible disease.

We have experienced first-hand the difficult challenges that a brain tumor diagnosis and brain surgery can present. However, there is something about children battling illnesses/diseases that just doesn’t seem to make sense. The more we listened to the radio that day, the more we were able to empathize with these children and families. There was never a question that day whether we should pick up the phone and contribute financially, or any day after that. We’re now working with the Foundation to become even more involved in the mission to support children and their families who have been affected by brain tumors, and a hope that one day there will be a cure.
