THE IMPORTANCE OF HOPE

I know how hard it can be to be raised by a single parent. I watched my mom struggle and fight every day just to get me through school and put food on the table. I know how hopeless things can seem sometimes – feelings of depression and insecurity can start to take over.

Hope is what kept me and my mom moving forward. Hope and hard work are what have me on the verge of fulfilling my NFL dream. I want other single moms and kids out there to know that there are people and organizations out there who support them; that there is reason to be hopeful.

That’s why I have made an important decision to use my performance at Auburn’s Pro Day to support Warrick Dunn Charities. I’m asking you to join me in their mission to help single parents and their children thrive academically, socially and economically by pledging for every bench press rep I record on Auburn’s Pro Day.
