Tigray Can't Wait!

The Tigray Can’t Wait event is sponsored by four organizations: Tigray Development Association- North America (TDA-NA), Rehabilitation Society of Tigray (REST), Engaging Diaspora for Research and Education Advancement through Partnership (ED-REAP), Security and Justice for Tigrayans (SJT). TDA-NA, ED-REAP and SJT are 501(c)(3) organizations registered in the US with good standing. REST is an international charity organization that has been serving the Tigray people since 1978. They all have come together to raise funds for the people of Tigray.

Since Nov 2020, the Tigray Region of Ethiopia has been affected by war that led to the disruption of life including deaths, injury, destruction of social infrastructure (health facilities, schools, markets, etc), destruction of institutions and displacement of people of all walks of life (students, researchers and faculty) in addition to the catastrophic humanitarian crisis that is affecting ordinary citizens in the region. We are raising these funds to contribute for emergency response and rehabilitation of those affected by the humanitarian crisis in the Tigray Region of Ethiopia.
