The Gillooly Family DADSDAY RUN CLUB for Family Connections

Staying connected these days can be challenging. Family Connections has moved to creatively provide opportunities to connect online for our regular participants and beyond. Our reach is even wider using technology so many more families are participating in our Music with Marisa program, Baby & Me and a special class Marisa is doing to help parents learn to play the ukulele. We successfully held our Parenting Plus class online with parents finding it very accessible and informative. Our Home Visiting programs, have moved their visits online or by phone or Facetime while also making “porch visits” to drop off materials and books, check in and see what other needs the families may have at this time.

The Gillooly family is running to help raise money for Family Connections, a local non-profit organization that engages families with young children to nurture social connections, enhance child development and improve school readiness and they are a crucial resource for our community. Our goal is to run 100 miles (we may walk a little of that distance too) before DADSDAY, which is June 21st this year. Our total will be the number of miles we run and walk together as a family.
