Greetings fam and friends!

This is your pal Annie typing on behalf of Lindy and myself! I’ll try to keep this short and sweet:

As you may know, I’ve been doing improv for the past 2-ish years. The Baltimore Improv Group (BIG) has become a second home where I have met wonderful people, pushed and expanded my creative abilities, and convinced LINDY to do improv at BIG, too! We love it. We’re obsessed. We want this theatre to keep running so we can continue to learn and grow as comedic genius human beings.

Lindy and my dream is to have an improv duo called SiSTAR to SiSTAR, inspired by our Instagram video series and our lives as SiSTARs and roommates. Quite frankly, we do improv scenes all the time with unsuspecting friends and strangers, and a lot of the time Angie, but we need more classes, more coaching, and a stage!

This year the Baltimore Improv Group is holding the 1st annual Winter WonderYesAnd fundraiser. 12 hours of improv will culminate in the BIGGEST SCENE EVER (allegedly -the unofficial, unconfirmed world record for the most people in one improv scene is currently 73, and BIG is aiming for 74.) While Lindy and I will not be there for said scene (birthday party plans for our favorite 3 year-old, Finnegan James Oyler) we will be there throughout the day, and yours truly is performing THREE times AND baked, like, 500 cookies for patrons. This fundraiser will help keep BIG’s nightly shows 100% free and pay for strategic facility improvements at the BIG Theater.

BIG’s goal is to raise $20,000. Matching gifts in the amount of $10,000 have already been pledged by generous donors on BIG’s Board and in our extended community. So, every dollar you give will count twice! If you’re able, please send a few bucks BIG’s way. We totally know that this time of year is money central. If you are unable to donate, send good thoughts BIG’s way and visit us in Baltimore this Spring or Summer. Support comes in many forms, and we (well, Lindy and Angie) have a house you can stay in!
