A message from Josh Oswald:
I'm participating in "Team UA: Avon Grove Football Freshman Lift For Life To Beat Rare Diseases 2019" benefiting Uplifting Athletes, Inc.. Please support me by pledging per rep during my fundraising campaign. I believe in Uplifting Athletes, Inc.'s mission and I'm excited to earn your support with every rep. Please help me reach the campaign goal of $1,250 by pledging now. I really appreciate your support. Thank you!
Our team competes on the field, but that doesn’t stop us from knowing what’s important off the field. This season our team will host a Team UA Lift For Life to raise money to support the Rare Disease Community through Uplifting Athletes and help the Avon Grove Football Team purchase new equipment. We are asking fans to pledge toward every rep we average as a class of 145 pounds during our 2019 Team UA: Lift For Life To Beat Rare Diseases campaign.
Proceeds from our pledge drive will be split 50/50 between Avon Grove Football Team and Uplifting Athletes.
Uplifting Athletes is a national nonprofit that inspires the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport and empowers medical researchers to find cures. A rare disease is one that affects fewer than 200,000 Americans and consequently lacks financial incentive to make and market new treatments. Founded in 2007, Uplifting Athletes has college football student-athlete led chapters nationwide in FBS and FCS programs including half the schools in the Big Ten and ACC conferences.
