We are competing in the 2018 Syracuse Lift For Life and we need your help!

The 2018 Syracuse Lift For Life is coming up and Team Dungey is proud to dedicate our performance in support of Uplifting Athletes and its mission to inspire the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport.

Team Dungey consists of the follow players: Eric Dungey, Cody Conway, AJ Duerig, Anthony Queely, Cooper Lutz, Kyle Kleinberg, Tre Allison, Matt Keller, Carlos Vettorello, and Sean Onwualu.

Lift For Life is the signature fundraising event for the Syracuse Chapter and all student-athlete led chapters are a part of the Uplifting Athletes nationwide network.

Our Lift For Life is scheduled for July 20th at 6:00 PM in Manley Field House. Please come out to show your support!

The challenges faced by the Rare Disease Community are bigger than any one individual, team or organization can tackle alone. Here at Syracuse we take pride in the opportunity to shine a spotlight on rare diseases and support Uplifting Athletes.

The Syracuse Chapter

The Syracuse Chapter started tackling rare diseases in 2013 when it joined Uplifting Athletes. The student-athlete led Syracuse Chapter serves the Rare Disease Community in honor of Rob Long, a former Orange punter and team captain.

Long was diagnosed with a rare malignant brain tumor and battled through his rare disease to make a full recovery. Long continues to be a strong rare disease advocate and supporter of the Syracuse Chapter of Uplifting Athletes.

About Uplifting Athletes

Uplifting Athletes is a national nonprofit that inspires the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport and empowers medical researchers to find cures. A rare disease is one that affects fewer than 200,000 Americans and consequently lacks financial incentive to make and market new treatments.

Founded in 2007, Uplifting Athletes has college football student-athlete led chapters nationwide in FBS and FCS programs including half the schools in the Big Ten and ACC conferences.

Thank You!
