Swimming’s best of the best are heading to Rio with hopes to maintain the USA’s place atop the podium. Now you can show your support by making a financial pledge for every gold, silver, and bronze medal won by the 2016 USA Swim Team - in both pool and open water events (34 events in total). In 2012, the USA brought home 31 swimming medals.
All contributions go to support the USA Swimming Foundation which works to get kids into learn-to-swim programs, helps local swim clubs with coach education, and supports the training and travel of our elite swimmers. Through donations from people like you we are saving lives and building champions - in the pool and in life.
You Can Make a Difference!
You can make an incredible impact by pledging a donation for every gold, silver, and bronze medal won by the 2016 USA Swim Team - in both pool and open water events. Your pledge will help support swimmers at every level, for example:
- Your $2 pledge per medal - Can help to provide a session of swim lessons for a child in need.
- Your $5 pledge per medal - Can help a new coach attend an educational seminar, deepening the expertise of our USA Swimming club system.
- Your $10 pledge per medal - Can help our elite swimmers stay focused on their swimming goals by providing travel and training funding.
As the philanthropic arm of USA Swimming, the USA Swimming Foundation works to strengthen the sport from grassroots to gold medals. With your help we can support America’s swimmers now, and for generations to come.
