Shaq's Tackles for Kids
HELP ME SUPPORT KIDS IN CHARLOTTE
This season, with the help of Salsarita’s, I’m inviting Panthers fans to help kids in Charlotte with every tackle. When you make a pledge for every tackle I have during the 2017 season, proceeds will go to my Dreambuilders program in support of the Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Charlotte.
As an added bonus, you can dine to donate at Salsarita’s! A portion of every Shaq’s customized burrito bowl ordered at Salsarita’s will be donated!
When you make a pledge of $1 per tackle or more or a flat donation of at least $40, you will be entered to win a football signed by Shaq Thompson. (Minimum donation of $40 for the season to be entered to win the drawing at the end of the season. Winner will be notified by email at the end of the season. All donations are tax-deductible.)
When you make a pledge of $5 per tackle or more or a flat donation of at least $50, you will be receive a limited-edition Shaq Thompson t-shirt. (Minimum donation of $50 for the season to receive the shirt. All orders will be filled in October.)
The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Charlotte was founded locally in 1934. Today, eight clubs serve nearly 2,500 school-aged children, including more than 1,700 members, in Mecklenburg and Union counties. Boys & Girls Clubs enable young people most in need to achieve great futures as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Clubs provide a safe place, caring adult mentors, fun, friendship, and high-impact youth development programs on a daily basis during critical non-school hours.
Shaq Thompson’s Sacks for Kids will support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Charlotte’s Triple Play, a comprehensive health and wellness program that strives to improve the overall health of Club members by increasing their daily physical activity, teaching them good nutrition and helping them to develop healthy relationships.
