Running Down “The Hill” for Haiti

THE CAUSE

Food for the Hungry (FH) is working in Bellevue La Montagne, Haiti to provide easy access to clean water (about 6,000 people) by capturing and piping available water sources close to their homes. FH’s goal is to reduce waterborne diseases by 60% within 12 months after completion; and completely eradicating those diseases and risks after 3 to 4 years. The total cost of this project is $89,000 and there is much work to be done.
