Proceeds benefit The Right to Walk Foundation
Whether through trauma, illness, or limb differences from birth, millions of people of all ages experience limb loss each year. After clearing the initial hurdle of coping with life-altering events comes another wave of challenges: getting around the barriers to receiving a prosthetic and the basic mobility and quality of life they provide.
Our organization provides grants to individuals with limb loss to assist them in obtaining long-awaited prosthetic limbs. Your donation will impact someone’s life greatly and permanently. Right to Walk Foundation is a 501c3 organization, so your donations are fully tax deductible.
We Support the Rights of People with Limb Loss, so can you.

The Right to Walk Foundation is so proud to team up with Sam Maddaus (@amputee_gsd) as he hikes the Pacific Crest Trail. Starting in Campo, San Diego and finishing at the Canadian Border, he aims to hike 2,650 miles in under 6 months. After he hikes across the Southern California desert, through the Sierra Nevada, traverses the Cascades of Oregon and Washington, he should finish close to the anniversary date of his amputation. We are grateful to Sam for his partnership and desire to fundraise for the Right to Walk Foundation (R2W). Please check out www.right2walk.org and our mission to help those with limb loss to obtain great prosthetic care. We accept donations on our webpage or you can donate through Instagram and Facebook. Or, make a “Pledge per Mile” donation by emailing shellie@right2walk.org. All donations, in honor of Sam and his quest to hike the Pacific Crest Trail, will go directly to prosthetic limbs for people that really need help. Thank you to Sam for inspiring us to strive for our dreams and live a better life. We wish Sam all the best for a safe and amazing adventure!! We all deserve the right to walk, please help those without it!
