We are competing in the 2019 Princeton Lift for Life and need your help!

The 2019 Princeton Chapter Lift for Life is coming up and Team Hog Squad is proud to dedicate our performance in support of Uplifting Athletes and its mission to inspire the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport.

Lift For Life is the signature fundraising event for the Princeton Chapter. Lift for Life is an event held by our fellow college football student-athlete brothers at other universities across the country who have joined the Uplifting Athletes nationwide network of chapters.

Our Lift for Life is scheduled for May 7th at 4:45 PM. You can come check out the competition outside of the Frist Campus Center.

The challenges faced by the Rare Disease Community are bigger than any one individual, team or organization can tackle alone. Here at Princeton we take pride in the opportunity to shine a spotlight on rare diseases and support Uplifting Athletes.

Fans and supporters can make a pledge for each 225 pound bench press rep our team averages. Our team goal is to average 12 reps during our Lift for Life competition.

Please join our team by making a pledge today!

How you can help

  • Pledge for each bench press rep we average during Lift for Life

  • Make a one-time flat donation

The proceeds from our 2019 Lift for Life support the mission of Uplifting Athletes and its charitable programs: Rare Disease Awareness, Rare Disease Research, Uplifting Experiences and Uplifting Leaders.

The Princeton Chapter

The Princeton Chapter started tackling rare diseases in 2011 when it joined Uplifting Athletes. The student-athlete led Princeton Chapter serves the Rare Disease Community in honor of Jordan Culbreath, a former Tigers running back.

Culbreath was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder and battled through his rare disease diagnosis to return to the field and finish his playing career. His inspiring story of hope not only led his Princeton teammates to form a chapter, Culbreath was also honored as the 2011 Uplifting Athletes Rare Disease Champion.

About Uplifting Athletes

A nonprofit organization founded in 2007, Uplifting Athletes inspires the Rare Disease Community with hope through the power of sport. A rare disease is one that affects fewer than 200,000 Americans and typically lacks financial incentive to make and market new treatments.

Uplifting Athletes fulfills its mission through a unique network of college football student-athlete led chapters, Uplifting Ambassadors and Team UA participants. Since its inception, Uplifting Athletes has raised more than $4.5 million in support of the Rare Disease Community with a third of that, $1.5 million, given to fund rare disease research.
