Austin Hedges, his Teammates and Padre Fans are Making a Big League Impact

Friends and fans–

I’ve joined up with Adam Wainwright’s Big League Impact and its mission to help multiply my efforts to meet basic human needs like food, clean water, medical care and shelter by partnering with Wells of Life®. As my Padre teammates and I take the field, I’m inviting you to take the challenge to make a big league impact with me by pledging a donation for every win that we record for the rest of this season.

WELLS OF LIFE

Wells of Life® has drilled 380 wells in Uganda, impacting over 380,000 people who will have clean water for 25 years. Each well is only $6,000 to drill and our campaign will provide four wells, which will impact over 4,000 people. Every $6 that you donate equals clean water for one person

HOW TO JOIN ME

It is simple, just join me in pledging a dollar amount for each Padres win for the rest of the season. I am putting up a $12,000 match, and providing rewards for every person who pledges at least $2 a win or $60 total.

My hope is that every Padre fan will contribute to this cause. No pledge is too small, and we are all in this together. Even $6 will help one person.

We will report back when the wells are drilled, and each one of you will be a part of the story.
