Based on 48 assists, each worth $32.42
The SMU Men’s Basketball team is teaming up with Coaching for Literacy and their mission to use the power of sports to raise awareness and funds to combat the problem of illiteracy nationwide. We are inviting fans to pledge a donation for each assist the Mustangs record during a four game stretch. 100% of your donation will go to support literacy work in Dallas, TX.
This game is being conducted in memory of CFL supporter Thomas Vanderslice, the father of Angela Vanderslice, SMU Class of 2017
Pledge a donation for every assist the SMU basketball team makes during the following four games (see schedule below). You can either pledge a donation per assist or make a one-time flat donation!
Coaching for Literacy’s Fight for Literacy Games empower coaches, players, teams and fans to join together to increase child reading levels through awareness, volunteering and fundraising efforts. Learn more about Fight for Literacy Games.
