Luke Weaver is Striking Out Poverty

JOIN ME IN MAKING A BIG LEAGUE IMPACT AT HOME AND ABROAD

Baseball has given me so much, including the opportunity to travel and see many parts of the world. On some of those travels, I have seen extreme poverty and hunger firsthand. I have also seen those close to home struggling just to have enough to eat and survive.

That is why, for the remainder of the season I’m taking the mound to strike out poverty for some of the world’s most vulnerable people. I’m joining up with Adam Wainwright’s Big League Impact and its mission to help meet basic human needs like food, clean water, medical care and shelter. Big League Impact has teamed up with Striking Out Poverty, an initiative of Food for the Hungry, in an effort to restore dignity and hope to people in our local communities and around the globe.

Please join me in making a Big League Impact by pledging a donation for every strikeout that I record throughout the remainder of the season - August 18th - October 1st.

I’m personally pledging $10 for every strikeout I record for the entire season. Adam Wainwright has agreed to match up to $250,000 that we collectively raise, so anything you give will have double the impact!
