UTSA’s Standout Wide Receiver DeCorian “JT” Clark Lends Hand to The Empower House’s 4th Annual Butterfly Brunch

San Antonio, TX (October 7, 2022) - University of Texas at San Antonio star wide receiver, De’Corian “JT” Clark, is set to participate in The Empower House’s 4th annual Butterfly Brunch on Saturday, November 12th.

The Butterfly Brunch is the largest fundraising event of the calendar year for the Empower House bringing in essential funds to sustain their programs and services for their work in the community, guided by values, solidarity, creativity, empathy and collaboration. This year’s event will be held at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens from 11:00 am - 1:30 pm.

Clark, a senior and women’s studies major at UTSA, has contributed a recorded speech on what solidarity and The Empower House mean to him. It will be played to the attendees at the brunch as UTSA is hosting Louisiana Tech at the Alamodome that day for a home game.

“I am truly inspired by the impactful acts of kindness that The Empower House exhibits on a daily basis for the city of San Antonio, that I love so much. It’s a personal honor to be a part of their special day,” said Clark.

For every catch Clark makes on the field for the Roadrunners from Saturday, October 8th vs. Western Kentucky through Saturday, November 12th vs. Louisiana Tech a financial donation will be made to Empower House in Clark’s name to his Pledge It Page. UTSA fans are encouraged to help Clark raise money for the organization by donating any dollar amount through the link.
