Proceeds benefit Uplifting Athletes, Inc.
Based on 19 bench presses, each worth $44.75
As I take a step toward my NFL dream, I’d like to use this opportunity to give back. I have committed my performance at the Arizona Pro Day to support Uplifting Athletes and its mission to inspire the rare disease community with hope through the power of sport, empowering medical researchers to find cures.
I was honored to be the Arizona Chapter President and the Lift for Life experience with my teammates was something I will never forget.
We lost the inspiration for starting the Arizona Chapter, Andrew Valdez, in 2015 to his battle with the rare disease Cystic Fibrosis. His fight became very personal to my teammates and I.
Uplifting Athletes was an important part of my college experience, and that is why I’ve chosen to launch my Reps for Rare Diseases campaign in support of the rare disease community.
Fans and supporters can pledge for each bench press repetition I perform (my goal is 18) at the Arizona Pro Day on March 24th.
Please join my team by making a pledge today!
Uplifting Athletes inspires the rare disease community with hope through the power of sport and empowers medical researchers to find cures. A rare disease is one that affects fewer than 200,000 Americans and consequently lacks financial incentive to make and market new treatments.
Founded in 2007, Uplifting Athletes has college football student-athlete led chapters nationwide in FBS and FCS programs including half the schools in the Big Ten and ACC conferences.
Thank you for your support of my campaign and the rare disease community. Every little bit helps. Please don’t forget to share this campaign and your support on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
