Hiking 100 Holes in One Day? Game on!

First and foremost, thank you for visiting my campaign and I appreciate your time! You are probably wondering right away, “Why (and how) are you going to play 100 holes of golf in one day?!”

Well, here’s my story: Growing up in Bakersfield, CA, junior golf provided me with friendships, successes (and defeats), values, etiquette, and lessons that are simply irreplaceable. Little did I know at the time, but everything I was learning through golf was transferable to real-life situations. I continued my golf career into high school (4-year athlete), played regularly while earning my degree at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and then became a Professional Caddie at Pebble Beach Resorts. Now we’re at present day and I’ve added another piece to the puzzle: As a Realtor® on the Monterey Peninsula, I donate 100 rounds of golf to Youth on Course for every completed transaction. As you can see, junior golf has dramatically shaped who I am and I’m passionate in providing the same opportunity that was given to me.

On September 25th, I will be participating in a 100 hole challenge to raise money and awareness for Youth on Course, which provides its members with access to golf for $5 or less, summer jobs through caddie and internship programs, and access to higher education through college scholarships. Currently, Youth on Course serves more than 25,000 youth at 650+ participating facilities throughout the nation.

To support Youth on Course, you can pledge any amount for each hole of golf I play. For example, if you pledge $1 per hole and the I play 100 holes, that’s $100 towards Youth on Course. I will be playing from sunup to sundown, walking 20+ miles, and taking LOTS of swings. It will be a fun, but challenging day and your backing will help keep me going.

Thank you again for your time and support. Please join me in contributing to this special campaign to help these junior golfers succeed on and off the course!

Fore!
