Proceeds benefit Candlelighters for Children with Cancer
Based on 1,048 miles, each worth $1.18
In 2006 our middle son Ty was diagnosed with ALL(Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) and we started a 3 1/2 year journey. At times it was fun and at times it was excruciatingly stressful and painful.
I’ve been looking for ways to give back to these special kids and I’d like your help in making this happen for them.
Our son Ty Ty has flourished since his battle with cancer. He graduated from WOU last year with a degree in public health and just completed his 1st year of nursing school and has 2 more years to go. Looking at him today you’d never know what his story is from his youth.
His mom Sharon and I are thrilled with his results and we feel confident for every other parent that may be in a similar position.
I am riding in Ride For A Child (RFAC) 2020 to raise funds and awareness for Candlelighters For Children With Cancer, a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supporting children battling cancer and their families. For 19 years, Ride For A Child has supported Candlelighters For Children With Cancer and in 2020 I am joining the cause. I am committed to raising funds to provide access to programs and services for families battling cancer across Oregon and SW Washington. You can support me by pledging per mile and you can following my progress on the Ride For A Child 2020 Leaderboard.
