Update 3/20/23 It's Day 1 of the Trans Rights Readathon and I just realized we've hit our original $300 goal! AMAZING!! I've decided to add a stretch goal. The NEW goal is $400! We have 7 days to do it!!!!

I’m participating in the first ever Trans Rights Readathon started by Jewish trans author @simkern on TikTok.

Here’s What We’re Doing:

Hateful legislators are trying to criminalize trans people, and BookTok won’t stand for it! Join us and send a message that trans voices deserve to be heard and trans lives matter!

My personal goal is to raise $300 for the Trans Health Legal Fund to help transgender people who are in danger of losing gender affirming health care and facing persecution in the United Stats and around the world.

The Readathon starts March 20th and ends March 27th.

During that week, I will read as many books written by trans authors as possible and documenting my progress on TikTok. You can follow along at @jdbrown.author or by using #TransRightsReadathon
