The Abington Track and Cross Countries teams have paired up to create the “Miles For Meals Fundraiser” . In these uncertain times, these athletes have decided to use their athletic abilities to benefit the Abington Food Pantry. Our team will be logging their miles daily on a running app called Strava. Each day, the miles will be posted on https://twitter.com/abingtontf
How Can I Help?
We are asking for either one-time donations or mile pledges throughout the week of June 8th-June 14th. Our athletes will run throughout that week and you have the opportunity to pledge $ per mile the team runs as a whole.
The estimated # of miles is 200, but this is merely a guess as athletes very well could do more...or depending on the weather less.
