WGA CSF Golf Marathon

$78,853 Total Raised

On August 26, 2019, local caddie managers, caddie scholars, CSF alumni, golf professionals, and members of area clubs will take the formidable challenge to play as many holes of golf as possible in one day. From sun up to sun down, at The Whippoorwill Club in Armonk, NY our marathon participants will look to raise money and awareness for the Westchester Golf Association Caddie Scholarship Fund.

The WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund provides financial need based scholarships to caddies and others who work in service to golf at local participating golf and country clubs. It was founded in 1956 by Willie Turnesa and Udo Reinach, and since its inception has raised over $21,000,000 to help more than 2,800 deserving young men and women pursue a higher education.

To support the WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund, you can pledge any amount towards the golfer of your choice below. Donations can be made in the form of a flat amount, or you can pledge your support for each hole of golf they play. For example, if you pledge $1 per hole and your golfer completes 100 holes, that’s $100 towards the WGA Caddie Scholarship Fund.

Golfers will be playing from sunup to sundown, walking 20+ miles, and taking hundreds of swings. It will be a fun, but challenging day and your backing will help keep our participants going! More than 1,900 total holes were played in 2018, with over $90,000 being raised by all participants! With your help, we can reach $100,000 this year!

Thank you for your dedicated support, and know that any donation made (no matter how big or small) truly makes a difference in the lives of our young scholars!
