On March 22nd and 23rd, The Cardinal Mooney Boys Lacrosse team will be hosting the 2nd annual Sticks for Soldiers, Florida event. This year’s event will include the following teams: Saint John Paul II Academy (Boca Raton), Riverview High School (Sarasota), Admiral Farragut Academy (St. Petersburg) and Cardinal Mooney.
The money raised at this event will directly benefit a local veteran and the goal is $25,000. There are several ways the players will be involved in achieving this goal. Through this link, you can help your player and team make a significant impact toward this very important cause. Pledges can be made based on the number of ground balls, goals, or assists during the games. In addition, a simple flat contribution is also welcome.

Sticks for Soldiers is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity lacrosse organization. Its mission is two-fold. First, is to provide financial support to our service men and women. Second, it also raises awareness among our youth the sacrifice put forth by our great military to protect this country. Through their play and fund-raising participation, the athletes can demonstrate their tangible thanks and support.
