This Purim, dance the night away at Romemu as we raise money for Footsteps — an organization that supports individuals and families who have chosen to leave or are thinking about leaving insular Jewish communities — and our very own Romemu Hesed Committee. In doing so we are honoring three of the intentions of Purim — honoring the divine feminine, celebrating community and giving tzedakah (charity) — while increasing joy and getting in shape for the new year.
The dance will take place on Monday, March 9th from 8:30-11:30pm. Registration is $36 to attend. To register for our Purim Party with a Purpose, click here!
We are inspiring each participant to set a goal of raising $200 (10 people supporting you with $20). We will prepare you for the dancing portion of the event, and a guidance call will be available for the fundraising portion of the event as well. Our goal is to raise $5K. There will be healthy drinks and refreshments, an ecstatic dance DJ, face-painting and a whole lot of fun!
