Greg Walsh Golf Outing

$5,432 Total Raised

In August of 2012, Greg Walsh died of Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). At the time, it was not a disease with which most people were familiar. Pulmonary Fibrosis is a lung disease that occurs when the lung tissue becomes damaged and scarred. This thickened tissue makes it more difficult for your lungs to work properly.

In order to aid in IPF research, we started an annual Greg Walsh Outing. Over the years we have raised over $40,000.00 for research. This year's date is September 10th 2022 at Whitney Farms in Monroe, CT.

In order to increase our research donations, we are starting a "designated driver"event. Golfers will be obtaining pledges based on how far they can drive a golf ball. All proceeds will be going to Yale New Haven Hospital for Pulmonary Fibrosis research.

The 2021 Greg Walsh Golf Outing raised $7,651. This year, our goal is to raise $10,000!!
