City Surf Project's Surf-A-Thon

$4,578 Total Raised

The City Surf Project is hosting the 2018 Surf-A-Thon on June 9th at Ocean Beach. This event aims to connect underrepresented Bay area youth with the ocean.

Surfers may participate in this event by creating a fundraising campaign, and invite sponsors to make a pledge per wave they get. Surfers will attempt to get as many waves as possible. Family and friends can pledge a donation for each wave they get, or make a one-time flat donation.

The City Surf Project mission is to teach underrepresented Bay Area youth valuable life skills through the sport of surfing. By learning to ride waves, students will build self-confidence and discover tools necessary to overcome boundaries, both in and out of the water.
