Derek Rivers Repping for JAR of Hope

As I take the next step toward my NFL dream, I have made an important decision to use my performance at the NFL Combine to support JAR of Hope.

Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) affects about 300,000 boys worldwide, with approximately 20,000 cases in the United States. DMD causes the body to lack the protein needed to protect and rebuild muscle fibers. This leads to continuous muscle degeneration and premature death.

JAR of Hope’s mission is dedicated to bringing awareness and raising funds directed to ongoing research in the hope of eliminating Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and that is why I’m dedicating my bench press at the NFL Combine to help raise awareness and funds for JAR of Hope.
