Proceeds benefit Depression2Extinction
I am very excited to have partnered with depression2extinction and be running for such a great cause. I have dealt with everything from bullying, low self-esteem and at times crippling depression when I was younger. Running has brought so much confidence into my life and changed it for the better.
Hi everybody, my name is Joshua Fiore, I’m 36 years old, a father of three great kids, physician assistant student, and professional OCR (obstacle course racing) athlete. I got into this sport by finishing small 3 mile OCR races and then started to do multi day adventure races such as the Spartan death race. Most recently I became the Spartan ultra world champion in Iceland. I hope to spread the word of this great organization and do what I can to show that depression can be beat. I am living proof!
My goal is to win the race and then run an additional lap to make it 45 total miles. So donate what you can to give me strength to finish that last lap!
I am always both nervous and excited before any race. The competition is always insane at these races and we push each other to new heights!
My top motivation is to be a role model for my son and to show every person out there that it gets better!
