Darius Phillips Jumping for St. Jude

THIS IS BIGGER THAN FOOTBALL

My three year old nephew is amazing. He is the smartest and strongest kid I know. He is happy and fun-loving and fills everyone he meets with joy. Just seeing him brightens up your day. You would never know there is anything wrong with him, but he also happens to be fighting brain cancer, and has had to endure multiple major surgeries throughout his young life.

Unfortunately, he is not alone in his fight. Everyday 46 children are diagnosed and 7 children die from cancer. For those of us who have the ability and opportunity, it is our duty to do something.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to attend the Western Michigan Pro Day, and I have decided to use this opportunity and platform to give back. Please join me by pledging a donation for every inch of my vertical leap on March 21st in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. I’ll be training extra hard knowing that with your pledges, every inch is more money raised for St. Jude’s mission to help more children like my nephew.
