Pitti's 3-point Challenge

Pitti’s 3-Point Challenge is managed by the San Marin High School Interact Club to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Pledge today so that every time our Mustangs shoot a 3-pointer, they shoot a hole in cancer! You can also make a one-time donation.

We’re doing this fundraiser in the name of Craig Pitti, a beloved member of the Novato community. He developed lasting relationships with students and co-workers alike during his time as co-athletic director and basketball coach at San Marin High School. He passed away on October 13th, 2017 after being diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Pitti kept the community directly informed through a series of videos giving updates about his health.

Pitti led the basketball team to two MCAL Championships (2010-11 and 2014-15) and one North Coast Section Championship (2010-11). He was known for wearing a full suit to every game, and numerous players fondly remembered his self-deprecating sense of humor and ability to connect with them on a personal level. He touched the community in so many ways and deserves a special place in the hearts of everyone in the community.
