Connor Barwin's Tackles for Houston

I played for the Texans for 4 years and called the city of Houston home, and the people of Houston my friends and neighbors. This campaign is for them!

By now we have all seen the devastation that Harvey has caused in Houston and the surrounding area. Lives have been lost. Homes have been lost. People are hurting, and they need our immediate help. The rebuilding process will also be a long one, and people need our continued and long-term support as well. As the season goes on and the days pass, we can’t forget about Houston!

That’s why I’ve decided to pledge $100 for every tackle I have this season to the city and people of Houston, and I’ve launched this campaign to ask you to join me. Please consider making a pledge for every tackle I have to aid the Houston Food Bank in their emergency response and ongoing efforts to provide necessary support to the people most affected by this natural disaster. As the pledges add up, I’ll be taking the field with a renewed purpose knowing that every tackle means more life-saving and life-changing support.
