Chris Devero's World Marathon Challenge

I’m running 7 marathons on all 7 continents in 7 consecutive days! Pledge per mile I complete!

My name is Chris Devero and I’m a 7 year brain cancer survivor. Last year, I read about BethAnn Telford, who is a 12 year brain cancer survivor, and how she completed 7 marathons on all 7 continents in 7 consecutive days in order to raise funds for brain cancer research. This year, I’ve decided to accept her challenge and attempt the World Marathon Challenge!

The World Marathon Challenge is an amazing logistical and physical challenge to run seven marathons on seven continents in seven consecutive days. A challenge that can be found on the 7 ultimate achievements in endurance running list and the one that only 90+ people have accomplished in the world.

From January 30th to February 5th, across 183.4 miles, I will be running around the world. I encourage you to pledge a donation for every mile I complete!

By pledging a donation towards every mile Chris accomplishes you will be helping to support Kids Shouldn’t Have Cancer Foundation. The mission of Kids Shouldn’t Have Cancer Foundation is to conquer pediatric cancer through research and political action, with an emphasis on responsible spending.

All of the proceeds from this campaign will go directly to Kids Shouldn’t Have Cancer Foundation to fund pediatric cancer research for treatments and cures, improve access to and awareness of clinical trials for families facing pediatric cancer, raise public awareness of the issues surrounding pediatric cancer funding, and influence the organizations that allocate federal cancer research funding.
