The Big 33 Scholarship Foundation will introduce two-time Super Bowl champion Vaughn Hebron as the 2015 Big 33 Honorary Chairman on Monday.
Hebron, who starred at Maryland’s Cardinal Gibbons High School and Virginia Tech, will be introduced at a press conference at Appalachian Brewing Company at 5:45 p.m.
As a running back and return specialist, Hebron rushed for 2,327 yards and totaled 16 touchdowns at Virginia Tech, eventually signing with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent in 1993.
He would finish his career with a three-year (1996-98) run in Denver, when the Broncos won back-to-back Super Bowls. Hebron’s best statistical season came with the Eagles in 1994, rushing 82 times for 325 yards and two scores. He also caught a career-high 18 receptions.
