WHAT: Headquartered in Harrisburg, PA, PLEDGE IT is the nation’s leading sports fundraising platform, empowering teams and athletes to raise money based on their performance. Having worked with notable athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, and Olympics to support well-known charities, PLEDGE IT is now unveiling the “Touchdowns Against Cancer” program, created in partnership with MaxPreps and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® in support of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
This first-of-its-kind high school football program aims to unify teams across the country for a common cause: defeating childhood cancer. Varsity high school football teams can participate in this unique opportunity by launching PLEDGE IT fundraisers to support the kids at St. Jude. Fans can pledge a donation for every touchdown their team scores during the last three weeks in September.
