Proceeds benefit Susan G. Komen
Based on 31 bench press reps, each worth $59.89
It is very important to me to be an advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness, because I feel I owe that to my mother.
When I was a kid, my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I remember when she lost her hair, and she was so frustrated with the transformation she was going through. She would stand in front of the mirror and just cry, because she felt like she wasn’t beautiful due to the hair loss. It got so bad that she started to buy wigs to help cover up her hair loss. Her biggest hatred of the process was going through chemotherapy. Chemotherapy drained her and made her feel bad. I just wished I could go back as the man I am now just to hold her and tell her how beautiful she was/is.
I’m passionate about donating my time and resources towards finding a cure for this deadly disease, and that’s why, as I take the next step toward my NFL dream, I’ve launched this Reps for Research campaign on Pledge It. Please help me honor my mom and support Susan G. Komen by pledging for every bench press rep I record at the 2018 NFL Combine.
Thank you for your generous support of my campaign, and of Susan G. Komen and their mission to end disparities and save lives. Every little bit helps. Please don’t forget to share this campaign and your support on social media (Facebook, twitter, instagram, etc.)
