I am grateful for the gifts that my career in baseball has given me and my family. I also feel strongly that it is my responsibility to use this platform to give back to those who need it most.

For every regular-season Phillies win, my wife, Elizabeth and I are donating to Cradles to Crayons Philadelphia, an organization providing low-income and homeless children around Greater Philadelphia with the everyday essentials they need to thrive at home, at school, and at play.

It’s estimated that 42 million people (including 13 million children!) across the country may experience food insecurity in 2021.
