Aidan Friedsam X HEADstrong

David Korn and I set out start the Riverdale Country School HEADstrong club last year. Since then, we have equipped the entire varsity football team with HEADstrong shoe laces and throughout the year we will continue to raise awareness and money. Our latest idea was to have the football team take part in the huddle up fundraiser. Each player can create a campaign where their friends and family pledge to pay a certain amount per specific stat. As a running back, I set my stat to rushing yards. For every rushing yard I have you can pledge to donate a certain amount of money.

Proceeds raised will go to the HEADstrong Foundation, which is a charitable 501c3 committed to improving the quality of life for those affected by cancer. With every step that we take, we are fulfilling the vision of the late Nick Colleluori, our founder. Nick’s last wish was that others would benefit from his journey.
