Proceeds benefit On Belay Inc
On February 3, 2019, Andy Crowley, climber and On Belay board member, will attempt to ice climb a frozen waterfall 100 times in under 12 hours to raise money for New Hampshire-based nonprofit On Belay.
On Belay offers youth, ages 8–18, who have a family member or loved one who’ve been impacted by cancer with an opportunity to cope and perhaps heal through adventure programing, including rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, and challenge courses.
The phrase “on belay” is the traditional verbal agreement used by rock and ice climbers to signal the start of a new challenge and a shared responsibility. Our programs create a sense of community in which participants learn what it means to be “on belay” for each other.
On Belay participants make lasting friendships, build personal resiliency, and connect with peers just like themselves who can understand the tough times they are going through.
Your pledge will help us to deliver FREE programming for participants and ensure they are supported during a time in their life when they need it the most.
