Last year Tommy Kirchhoff and Bobby Whalen teamed up in the fight against ALS in honor of their father and uncle, Tom Kirchhoff. This year, Bobby is returning for his senior season and joining forces with his Cedar Cliff teammates to raise awareness and donations for ALS. Tommy is heading to Penn State for his freshman year!
Please help us to continue to fight this horrible disease… with your donations, WE WILL WIN!!
You can make a pledge for every touchdown the Cedar Cliff Colts score during the season. You can also make a one-time flat donation. 100% of your contribution (minus card processing fee) will benefit Project ALS. Project ALS identifies and funds the most promising scientific research that will lead to the first effective treatments and a cure for ALS. By recruiting the world’s best scientists and doctors to work together—rationally and aggressively — Project ALS can help develop a better understanding of the ALS disease process and, in parallel, better therapeutic strategies.
“About 7 years ago my “Uncle Tommy” was diagnosed with ALS. It was life changing for me. My perspective on life had switched dramatically. No longer could I complain about having to do or be upset about little things because now I knew it could be so much worse. Uncle Tommy fought the fight the best I could ever imagine. He did so many things the doctors said were impossible. His fight was just absolutely unbelievable. Something that comes to my mind every time I think of him was when our families were skiing together in Utah and he was really not doing well at all, but he wanted to go skiing with us. He came with an oxygen tank on his back and a mask on his face and skied with his kids one more time. The point of all of this is to show how hard he fought this disease. I believe it is my duty to find a cure and spread awareness. I am asking you to fight with me and Tommy by making a donation to Project ALS to help make this awful disease go away for good! Thank you for your donation!”
Thank you for your support and generosity!
